Corinthians win the Women's Copa Libertadores
Corinthians began their participation in the 2023 edition of the Copa Libertadores women's soccer tournament with a 1-0 win over Colo-Colo (Chile) on Friday night (6) at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo in Bogotá (Colombia).
The only goal of the match was scored by Millene in the 27th minute, from the penalty spot. With this result, Timão's Brabas occupy second place in Group C, behind Libertad Limpeño (Paraguay), who beat Always Ready (Bolivia) 3-1. The Corinthians' next opponents will be the Bolivians, next Monday (9), at 19:30 (Brasília time).

Another Brazilian team to win the competition on Friday was Internacional, who beat Nacional (Uruguay) 3-0, with goals from Priscila, Letícia Monteiro and Sol, at the Pascual Guerrero stadium in Santiago de Cali.
With this victory, the Gurias Coloradas take the lead in Group D. The Porto Alegre team will now face América de Cali (Colombia) next Monday.
